Add predictability to posterior composite restorations
The Pac-Dent iMatrix sectional matrix system offers clinicians components
that create stellar contact, contour and marginal ridges when placing
posterior Class II composite restorations. The iMatrix starter kit includes
two ultraretentive ring sizes (narrow and standard), tweezers, forceps, and
multiple matrix and wedge sizes to overcome any posterior clinical situation.
The NiTi iMatrix rings provide enough tension to prevent the matrix from
slipping while separating the adjacent teeth slightly, exerting an optimal tooth
separation force. The ring tines’ undercut design helps reduce flash because
the wedge contours the buccal and lingual gingival embrasures, creating a nice
seat at the bottom of the prepared box. In addition, the rings are designed to
be stackable for multiple restorations.
The stainless steel matrices are thin, yet firm enough to simplify placement
and removal. The curvature of the 3D matrix band results in an anatomical
contour, contact and marginal ridge that helps reduce flash at the margins.
The iMatrix system makes placing Class II posterior composite restorations
predictable and efficient. It works predictably, making the iMatrix an
excellent choice for clinicians for both value and performance.
